COMBUSTION TYPE POWER HEATER SYSTEM - PRECAUTION
| 1.PRECAUTION FOR COMBUSTION TYPE POWER HEATER SYSTEM |
Do not touch the power heater or its exhaust pipe because they are hot.
Keep flammables such as fuel away from the power heater and its exhaust pipe. Items that come into contact with the power heater and its exhaust pipe may cause a fire.
Do not use improper fuels because these may shorten the life of the power heater, or may cause either corrosion or noise when the heater ignites.
Do not turn the heater on and off repeatedly in 5-minute intervals because this may shorten the life of the heater components. If the engine is turned on and off repeatedly in short intervals (such as when the vehicle is being used as a delivery vehicle), turn the heater off.
Be careful not to splash water or spill liquid directly on the heater or on the heater fuel pump. This may cause the heater to malfunction.
Keep the intake and exhaust pipes of the heater free from water, snow, ice, mud, etc. If the pipes become clogged, this can cause the heater to malfunction.

When disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the terminal is reconnected.
