OPERATION CHECK

Disconnect the vacuum hose connector from the pump assembly.

Connect the hose of the vacuum gauge to the vacuum pump assembly.

Start the engine and warm it up for more than 2 minutes.

With the engine idling, check the negative pressure of the vacuum pump assembly.

• Standard pressure:
• More than 650 mmHg (86.7 kPa)

• HINT:

• It is necessary to replace the vacuum pump every 200,000 km (124,000 miles).

Remove the vacuum gauge from the vacuum pump assembly.

Connect the vacuum hose connector to the vacuum pump assembly.
