INSTALL REAR DISC

ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE

TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG

INSTALL PISTON SEAL

INSTALL CYLINDER BOOT

INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE PISTON

INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER SLIDE BUSHING

INSTALL REAR BRAKE BUSHING DUST BOOT

INSTALL CALIPER SUPPORT BRACKET

Aligning the matchmarks, install the rear disc.

• HINT:

• When replacing the rear disc with a new one, select the installation position where the rear disc has the minimum runout.

Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to a new piston seal.

Install the piston seal to the rear cylinder assembly.

Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the piston and a new cylinder boot.

Install the cylinder boot to the piston as shown in the illustration.

Install the cylinder boot to the rear cylinder assembly.

• NOTICE:

• Install the boot securely to the grooves of the cylinder.

Push in the piston by hand and install the boot seal onto the grooves of the piston.

• NOTICE:

• Install the boot sent securely onto the grooves of the piston.

Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to a new cylinder slide bushing.

Install the cylinder slide bushing to the rear cylinder assembly.

• NOTICE:

• Install the cylinder slide bushing securely to the grooves of the rear cylinder assembly.

Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to a new bushing dust boot.

Install the bushing dust boot to the rear cylinder assembly.

• NOTICE:

• Install the bushing dust boot securely to the grooves of the rear cylinder assembly.

Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the caliper support bracket.

Install the caliper support bracket to the rear cylinder assembly.

• NOTICE:

• Install the bushing dust boot securely to the grooves of the caliper support bracket.
