FUEL LID OPENER MOTOR ASSEMBLY - INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
Fuel Lid Opener Motor Assembly - Inspection. ENGINE HOOD / DOOR. Lexus IS250 IS220d GSE20 ALE20

Apply battery voltage to the lock terminals and check that the motor operates and the shaft moves in the open direction.

  • OK:
  • Measurement ConditionSpecified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1    		Motor operates and shaft moves in open direction

Measure the shaft stroke.

  • Standard:
  • 10.3 mm (0.406 in.) or more

If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.
