FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER - REMOVAL
| 1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) |
| 2. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Power Seat) |
Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the seat track bracket cover outer front LH.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 3. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Power Seat) |
| 4. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat) |
Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat track cover rear outer LH.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 5. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat) |
| 6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) |
Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.
Remove the 2 bolts on the front seat track bracket.
Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.
Remove the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent the airbag and seat belt pretensioner from deploying .
Disconnect the connectors under the seat. Then remove the seat.
| 7. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) |
Disconnect the connector and detach the 4 clamps.
Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.
| 8. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat) |
Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.

- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 9. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat) |
Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD WITH INNER NO.1 CUSHION SHIELD (for Power Seat) |
Release the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.
Remove the 6 screws.
Disengage the claw and separate the front seat cushion shield assembly.
Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.
| 11. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat) |
Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.
Using a screwdriver, detach the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.
| 12. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Power Seat) |
Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.
| 13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) |
| 14. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH (for Manual Seat) |
Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide handle.
Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the front inner seat track bracket cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 15. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH (for Manual Seat) |
Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the front outer seat track bracket cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 16. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat) |
Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide handle.
Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat outer track bracket cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 17. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat) |
Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear inner seat track bracket cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 18. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB (for Manual Seat) |
Remove the snap ring and the vertical seat adjuster knob.
| 19. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP (for Manual Seat) |
Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the vertical seat adjuster knob cap.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 20. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Manual Seat) |
Remove the 2 screws and vertical adjusting handle.
| 21. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE (for Manual Seat) |
Lift the reclining adjuster release handle.
Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Manual Seat) |
Remove the screw.
Disengage the claw and clamp and remove the seat cushion shield.
| 23. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) |
Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 clamps.
Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.
| 24. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Manual Seat) |
Remove the screw.
Disengage the 2 claws and clip then remove the front inner seat cushion shield.
| 25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Manual Seat) |
Passenger seat only:
Separate the belt warning occupant detection sensor.
Disengage the 2 hooks.
Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.
| 26. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Manual Seat) |
Remove the hog rings.
Remove the hog rings and front seat cushion cover.
| 27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY |
Cut off the tack pins that fasten the seat heater, and then remove the front seat cushion heater assembly from the seat cushion cover.
