Confirm that the rivets are seated properly against the moulding. Do not tilt the riveter when installing the rivet to the moulding. Do not leave any space between the rivet head and moulding.

Do not leave any space between the moulding and door frame. Firmly hold together the 2 items while installing the rivet.

2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR REAR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING

HINT:

When installing the front door rear window frame moulding rear, heat the vehicle body and front door rear window frame moulding using a heat light.

Heating temperature:
Item	Temperature
Vehicle Body	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
Moulding	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

NOTICE:

Do not heat the vehicle body and front door window frame moulding rear excessively.

Clean the vehicle body surface.

Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

Clean the front door rear window frame moulding. (If reusing the front door rear window frame moulding)

Using a heat light, heat the front door rear window frame moulding.

Remove the double-sided tape from the front door rear window frame moulding.

Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

Apply new double-sided tape to the front door rear window frame moulding.

Install the front door rear window frame moulding.

Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and front door rear window frame moulding.

Remove the peeling paper from the face of the front door rear window frame moulding.

HINT:

After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

Install the front door rear window frame moulding with the clip.

3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY

4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR FRAME COVER

5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

Engage the 21 clips to install a new front door weatherstrip.

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY

Install the front door check assembly with the bolt and the 2 nuts.

Torque:
bolt:
27 N*m{ 275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf}

Torque:
nut:
8.0 N*m{ 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR CHECK COVER

Install the front door check cover.

8. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

Engage the clamp to install the outer rear view mirror assembly.

Install the outer rear view mirror assembly with the 3 nuts.

Torque:
5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf}

9. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR PROTECTOR

Apply butyl tape.

Install a new outer mirror protector.

Connect the connector and engage the clamp.

10. INSTALL DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR

Install the door electrical key oscillator with the screw.

11. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

Apply MP grease to the sliding parts on the front door outside handle frame sub-assembly.

Install the front door outside handle frame sub-assembly with the claws.

Using a "torx" socket wrench (T30), install the front door outside handle frame sub-assembly with the screw.

Engage the 2 clamps.

Connect the connector.

12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY

Install the front door inside locking cable assembly.

Engage the 3 claws.

13. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

Install the front door lock remote control cable assembly.

14. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

NOTICE:

When reusing the removed front door lock assembly, replace the door lock wire harness sealing on the connector with a new one.

Do not allow grease or dust to adhere on the door lock wiring harness sealing surface of the connector.

Reusing the door lock wiring harness sealing and/or using damaged door lock wiring harness sealing may cause water intrusion to the connection. This may result in a malfunction in the front door lock assembly.

Apply MP grease to the sliding parts on the front door lock assembly.

Install a new door lock wiring harness sealing to front door lock assembly.

Insert the front door lock open rod to the front door lock assembly, and set it to the front door outside handle frame.

Make sure that the front door lock open rod is securely connected to the front door lock assembly.

Using a "torx" socket wrench (T30), install the front door lock assembly with the 3 screws.

Torque:
5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf}

Connect the connector.

15. INSTALL FRONT DOOR REAR OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD

Attach the 2 claws to install the front door rear outside handle pad.

16. INSTALL FRONT DOOR FRONT OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD

Attach the 3 claws to install the front door front outside handle pad.

17. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY

Insert the front end of the front door outside handle assembly into the front door outside handle frame.

Insert the rear end of the front door outside handle assembly into the front door outside handle frame. Next slide the front door outside handle assembly to the front of the vehicle to install it.

Using a "torx" socket wrench (T30), install the front door handle assembly outside with the screw.

Connect the connector.

18. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER

Install the front door lock cylinder.

HINT:

Make sure that the front door lock cylinder rod is inserted into the front door lock assembly.

Using a "torx" socket wrench (T30), install the front door lock cylinder with the screw.

Install the hole plug.

Engage the 2 claws of the front door outside handle cover to the front door lock cylinder to install the cover.

19. INSTALL FRONT DOOR REAR LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

Install the front door rear lower frame sub-assembly with the bolt.

20. INSTALL FRONT DOOR FRONT LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

Install the front door front lower frame sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

21. INSTALL FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN

Install the front door glass run.

22. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION

Install a new front No. 1 door stiffener cushion with the 2 bolts and double-sided tape.

23. INSTALL FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

NOTICE:

The regulator arm must be below the intermediate position when installing the power window regulator motor.

Using a "torx" driver (T25), install the power window regulator motor sub-assembly front with the 3 screws.

Torque:
5.4 N*m{ 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf}

HINT:

A new front window regulator adopts a self-tapping method. The installation position of the regulator will be threaded when the self-tapping screw is inserted.

24. INSTALL FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

Apply MP grease to the sliding parts on the front door window regulator sub-assembly.

Install the temporary bolt to the front door window regulator sub-assembly.

Temporarily install the window regulator.

Tighten the 6 bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the front window regulator.

Torque:
11 N*m{ 112 kgf*cm, 8.1 ft.*lbf}

Connect the connector.

25. INSTALL FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY

Insert the front door glass sub-assembly into the front door panel along the front door glass run as indicated by the arrows in the illustration.

Install the front door glass sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque:
5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf}

Install the hole plug.

26. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER

Apply butyl tape to the front door panel.

Pass the front door lock remote control cable and rear door inside locking cable through a new front door service hole cover.

Install the service hole cover.

NOTICE:

Securely install the front door service hole cover avoiding wrinkles and air bubbles.

Connect each connector and each clamp.

27. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU (w/ Memory)

Install the outer mirror control ECU with the 2 screws.

Connect each connector.

28. INSTALL FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

Install the front No. 3 speaker assembly with the 2 bolts.

HINT:

Install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Connect the connector.

29. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration to temporarily install the front No. 1 speaker assembly.

Install the front No. 1 speaker assembly with the 3 bolts.

HINT:

Install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Connect the connector.

30. INSTALL DOOR FRAME GARNISH

Install the door frame garnish with the 2 clips.

31. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER

Engage the 6 clips to install the front door trim cover.

Install the screw.

32. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP

Engage the 4 claws and install the front door inner glass weatherstrip.

33. INSTALL SEAT MEMORY SWITCH (w/ Seat Position Memory System)

Install the switch with the 2 screws.

Connect the connector.

34. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Install the front door inside handle sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

35. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

Install the front No. 2 speaker assembly to the cover.

Engage the 3 claws and install the cover.

Install the front No. 2 speaker assembly w/ cover with the 3 screws.

Engage the 2 clamps.

36. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

Connect the rear door lock remote control cable and rear door inside locking cable to the front inside handle.

Connect each connector.

Engage the front door trim board with the 4 clips of the front door inner glass weatherstrip.

Engage the 9 clips and install the front door trim board to the front door panel.

Install the 2 screws.

37. INSTALL COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

Connect the connector.

Engage the claw and install the courtesy light assembly.

38. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Connect each connector.

Engage the 4 claws and 2 clips, and install the power window regulator master switch assembly.

39. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG

Engage the 3 claws and install the front door inside handle bezel plug.

40. INITIALIZE POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM
