FRONT BUMPER - DISASSEMBLY
| 1. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH |
Disengage the clamp.
Disengage the 3 pins and remove the bolt and fog light assembly.
| 2. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH |
| 3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Clearance Sonar System) |
Disconnect the sensor connector.
Remove the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor from the front bumper.

| 5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) |
Extend the headlight cleaner washer nozzle.
Remove the headlight cleaner washer nozzle.
- HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.

| 7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) |
Disconnect the headlight washer hose.
Remove the bolt.
Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
- HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.

| 9. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE |
Disengage the 9 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.
| 10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) |
Remove the headlight hose.
| 11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) |
Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the headlight cleaner hose.
| 12. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR |
Disengage the 13 claws and remove the radiator grille protector.
| 13. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING |
Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
Disengage the 8 claws and remove the radiator grille moulding.
| 14. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE |
Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
Disengage the 6 claws and remove the radiator grille.
| 15. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) |
- HINT:
- When removing the emblem, heat the vehicle body and emblem using a heat light.

| Emblem | 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) |
- NOTICE:
- Do not heat the vehicle body and emblem excessively.
Put protective tape around the radiator grille emblem.
Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem.
Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.
Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the moulding to the vehicle body.
- NOTICE:
Remove the radiator grille emblem.

Remove the 2 spring nuts.
Disengage the claw and remove the radiator grille emblem.
| 17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET |
Remove the 2 screws.
Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.
| 18. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER |
Disengage the 2 claws and remove the lower front bumper cover.
| 19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER LH |
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper guard cover LH.
| 20. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER RH |
| 21. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE |
Using a cutter or other similar tool, separate the 2 heat-welded portions.
Disengage the 14 claws and remove the lower radiator grille.
| 22. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER RH |
Remove the screw.
Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front spoiler cover RH.
| 23. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER LH |
Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front spoiler cover LH.
| 24. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PROTECTOR |
Remove the 2 front bumper protectors.
| 25. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER |
Remove the 4 front fender liner retainers.
| 26. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER |
| 27. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER |
Remove the front bumper energy absorber.
| 28. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT |
Disengage the 2 clips and disconnect the radiator support opening cover.
Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler (ambient temp sensor) thermistor.
Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.
| 29. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH |
Remove the screw.
Disengage the claw and remove the front bumper side retainer LH.
