FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY (for 2AD-FHV) - INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
Fuel Sender Gauge Assembly (For 2Ad-Fhv) - Inspection. METER. Lexus IS250 IS220d GSE20 ALE20

Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.

Inspect the fuel sender gauge assembly (main).

Remove the fuel sender gauge assembly (main).

Check that the float moves smoothly between F and E.

Measure the resistance between terminals 2 (S) and 3 (FE) of the connector according to the value(s) in the table below.

  • Fuel Sender Gauge Assembly (Main):
  • Float LevelResistance (Ω)
    F6.5 to 8.5
    Between E and F6.5 to 233.0
    E228.0 to 233.0

Inspect the fuel sender gauge assembly (sub).

Remove the fuel sender gauge assembly (sub).

Check that the float moves smoothly between F and E.

Measure the resistance between terminals 1 (FS) and 2 (E) of the connector according to the value(s) in the table below.

  • Standard resistance:
  • Fuel Sender Gauge Assembly (Sub):
  • Float LevelResistance (Ω)
    F6.5 to 8.5
    Between E and F6.5 to 181.5
    E177.5 to 181.5
  • HINT:
  • If the value is not as specified, replace the fuel sender gauge assembly.
