COOLING FAN RELAY - ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
| 1. INSPECT COOLING FAN RELAY |
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection Specified Condition 3 - 5 10 MΩ or higher 3 - 5 Below 1 Ω
(when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
| 2. INSPECT NO. 2 COOLING FAN RELAY |
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection Specified Condition 3 - 4 Below 1 Ω 3 - 5 10 MΩ or higher 3 - 5 Below 1 Ω
(when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)
If the result is not as specified, replace the No.2 cooling fan relay.
| 3. INSPECT NO. 3 COOLING FAN RELAY |
Inspect the resistance of the relay.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection Specified Condition 3 - 5 10 MΩ or higher 3 - 5 Below 1 Ω
(when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)
If the result is not as specified, replace the No.3 cooling fan relay.
