FUEL INJECTOR - ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

Remove the No. 1 engine cover.

2. INSPECT INJECTOR ASSEMBLY

Resistance inspection

Disconnect the injector connector.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance.

  • Standard resistance:
  • TerminalsConditionResistance
    1 - 220°C (68°F)0.9 to 1.1 MΩ
  • HINT:
  • The temperature indicated in "Condition" refers to the temperature of the injector assembly.

If the result is not as specified, replace the injector assembly.


Connect the injector connector.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER
Fuel Injector - On-Vehicle Inspection. 2AD-FHV FUEL. Lexus IS250 IS220d GSE20 ALE20

Install the No. 1 engine cover.
