EFI RELAY - ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT EFI RELAY
Efi Relay - On-Vehicle Inspection. 2AD-FHV ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM. Lexus IS250 IS220d GSE20 ALE20

Remove the engine room No. 1 relay block cover.

Remove the EFI relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block.

Measure the EFI relay resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  • Standard resistance:
  • Tester ConnectionSpecified Condition
    3 - 510 kΩ or higher
    3 - 5Below 1 Ω
    (when battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2)

Reinstall the EFI relay to the engine room No. 1 relay block.

Reinstall the engine room No. 1 relay block cover.
