INSPECTION PROCEDURE

  • NOTICE:
  • After replacing the ECM, the new ECM needs registration and initialization .
1.CHECK IF DTC OUTPUT RECURS (IN ADDITION TO P1601)

Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

Turn the engine switch ON (IG) and turn the intelligent tester ON.

Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / DTC.

Read the DTCs.

  • Result:
  • Display (DTC Output)Proceed to

3.CHECK INJECTOR COMPENSATION CODE

Read the injector compensation codes .

  • OK:
  • Compensation codes stored in the ECM match compensation codes of the installed injectors.

Input the injector compensation codes .
