  1. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL REAR LICENSE LIGHT COVER

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

  4. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR

  5. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM

Back Door Garnish (For Double Swing Out Type) -- Reassembly



1. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  1. Attach the 2 guides and install the 2 license plate light assemblies.

  1. Install the 2 screws.



2. INSTALL REAR LICENSE LIGHT COVER

  1. Attach the 9 claws to install the rear license light cover to the back door outside garnish.



3. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

  1. Install the back door outside garnish to the back door No. 2 outside garnish with the 3 screws.



4. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR
HINT:
When installing the back door outside garnish protector, heat the back door outside garnish surface using a heat light.

20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
NOTICE:
Do not heat the back door outside garnish sub-assembly excessively.

  1. Clean the back door outside garnish sub-assembly surface.

    1. Using a heat light, heat the back door outside garnish sub-assembly surface.

    2. Remove the double-sided tape from the back door outside garnish sub-assembly surface.

    3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

  1. Install a new back door outside garnish protector as shown in the illustration.



5. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM
HINT:
When installing the symbol emblem, heat the vehicle body and symbol emblem using a heat light.
Standard:

40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
Symbol Emblem
20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle body or symbol emblem excessively.

  1. Clean the vehicle body surface.

    1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

    2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

    3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

  1. Install a new symbol emblem.

    1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new symbol emblem.

    2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the symbol emblem.

      HINT:
      After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    3. Align the boss positions and install the symbol emblem.

      HINT:
      Press the symbol emblem firmly to install it.
