  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  3. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER

  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  5. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH COVER LH

  6. REMOVE CENTER LOWER PILLAR GARNISH LH

  7. REMOVE REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  10. REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER LAP BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY

Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly (For Bench Seat Type) -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
  3. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  4. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  1. Detach the 7 claws and 4 clips, and remove the scuff plate.



3. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER

HINT:
Use the same procedure to remove the step cover on the other side.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the step cover.



4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the 3 claws and 4 clips, and remove the scuff plate.



5. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH COVER LH
HINT:
  1. for Manual Seat:
    When removing the center pillar garnish cover, move the front seat and seatback to the foremost upright position.
  2. for Power Seat:
    When removing the center pillar garnish cover, connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal and operate the power seat switch to move the front seat and seatback to the foremost upright position.
  3. for Power Seat:
    After moving the front seat, disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

  1. Detach the 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the cover.



6. REMOVE CENTER LOWER PILLAR GARNISH LH
HINT:
  1. When installing the center lower pillar garnish, move the front seat and seatback to the foremost upright position.
  2. After moving the front seat, disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

  1. Remove the bolt and seat belt anchor.

  1. Detach the 3 claws and 6 clips, and remove the center lower pillar garnish LH.



7. REMOVE REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY

HINT:
Use the same procedure to remove the rear assist grip on the other side.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 assist grip plugs.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear assist grip.



8. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

  1. Remove the bolt.

  1. Detach the 2 clips and 2 guides.

  1. Pass the seat belt anchor through the center pillar garnish, and remove the center pillar garnish.

  1. Remove the nut and shoulder anchor.

  1. Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt assembly LH.



10. REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.



11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER LAP BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the bolt and front seat outer lap belt sub-assembly.
