RECHECK DTC

DTC C1A47 Steering Angle Sensor


DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives steering angle signals from the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly via CAN communication.

A fail flag is transmitted from the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly
  1. Spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly
  2. Blind spot monitor sensor LH
  3. Blind spot monitor sensor RH

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch (steering pad switch assembly [multi-function switch]) is on.
1.CHECK FOR DTC

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

    OK:
    No DTCs are output.

Go to step 2

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (Click here)

2.REPLACE SPIRAL WITH SENSOR CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Replace the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly (Click here).

3.RECHECK DTC

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
