INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK TEST MODE DTC

  1. Switch the vehicle to test mode, perform the center differential lock signal check, and then check that the Test Mode (Signal Check) DTC C1282 is cleared (Click here).

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (Click here)

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - 4 WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL ECU/TRANSFER SHIFT ACTUATOR)

  1. Disconnect the A24 skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) connector.

  1. Disconnect the A27 4 wheel drive control ECU connector.

  1. Disconnect the C37 transfer shift actuator assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:

    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    A24-27 (EXI) - A27-14 (P1)
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    A24-27 (EXI) - C37-3 (CDL)
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    A24-27 (EXI) - Body ground
