Air Switching Valve (For Bank 2) Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 3 PCV HOSE

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE

  5. REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

Air Switching Valve (For Bank 2) -- Removal



1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Raise the front of the V-bank cover to detach the 3 pins. Then remove the 2 V-bank cover hooks from the bracket, and remove the V-bank cover.

2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE

  1. Disconnect the No. 2 PCV hose and No. 1 air hose.

  1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector and detach the clamp.

  1. Detach the 4 clamps.

  1. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap and hose.



3. DISCONNECT NO. 3 PCV HOSE

  1. Disconnect the No. 3 PCV hose.



4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Disconnect the No. 1 air injection system hose.



5. REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the air switching valve connector.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts.



    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 3 bolts, air switching valve and gasket.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the surfaces that contact the gasket.
