  4. INSPECT NO. 4 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (For Dpf) -- Inspection



1. INSPECT EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    50°C (122°F)
    42 to 68 kΩ
    HINT:
    The temperature indicated under "Condition" is the temperature of the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
    If the result is not as specified, replace the exhaust gas temperature sensor.


2. INSPECT NO. 2 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    50°C (122°F)
    42 to 68 kΩ
    HINT:
    The temperature indicated under "Condition" is the temperature of the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
    If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor.


3. INSPECT NO. 3 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:

    Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    50°C (122°F)
    42 to 68 kΩ
    HINT:
    The temperature indicated under "Condition" is the temperature of the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
