DESCRIPTION

The cooler blower motor is operated by signals from the air conditioning amplifier assembly (for cool box).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 1 COOLER WIRING HARNESS SUB-ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200.Heating Air Conditioning.Air Conditioning System (For Automatic Air Conditioning System).Air Conditioning System (For Automatic Air Conditioning System) Cooling Box Blower Motor Circuit

  1. Disconnect the No. 1 cooler wiring harness sub-assembly connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    1 - Body ground
    		Ignition switch off
    		Below 1 V
    Ignition switch ON
    		11 to 14 V

  1. Disconnect the No. 1 cooler wiring harness sub-assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:

    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

3.CHECK NO. 1 COOLER WIRING HARNESS SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Replace the No. 1 cooler wiring harness sub-assembly with a normal one and check that the condition returns to normal.

    OK:
    Same problem does not occur.

Go to step 4
OK

REPLACE NO. 1 COOLER WIRING HARNESS SUB-ASSEMBLY

4.INSPECT COOL BOX BLOWER WITH FAN MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the cool box blower with fan motor sub-assembly (Click here).

  1. Inspect the cool box blower with fan motor sub-assembly (Click here).

    OK:
    Cooler blower motor operates smoothly.
