  1. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR COVER

  2. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR

  3. CLEAN WINDSHIELD GLASS

Rain Sensor -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR COVER


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200
  1. Slide the rain sensor cover as shown in the illustration and detach the 2 guides.

  1. Release the stopper by pulling it down.

    Remove
  1. Remove the rain sensor with rain sensor cover as shown in the illustration.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the rain sensor cover.



2. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200
  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the rain sensor.



3. CLEAN WINDSHIELD GLASS
HINT:
  1. Rain sensor tape is reusable. Only replace the rain sensor tape if it is damaged or contaminated.
  2. Check that there is no rain sensor tape residue remaining on the windshield glass. If there is, remove the residue before installing the rain sensor.
  3. If there is any rain sensor tape residue remaining on the windshield glass, replace the tape.
