Graphic Decal -- Removal

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FENDER STRIPE LH

HINT:

When removing the fender stripe LH, heat the vehicle body and fender stripe LH using a heat light.

Standard:

Item	Temperature
Vehicle Body	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
Fender Stripe LH	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

NOTICE:

Do not heat the vehicle body and fender stripe LH excessively.

Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and fender stripe LH.

Pull back an edge of the fender stripe LH and pull it parallel to the vehicle body to remove it.
HINT:
For snorkel-equipped vehicles, there is no fender stripe RH.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR STRIPE LH

HINT:

When removing the front door stripe LH, heat the vehicle body and front door stripe LH using a heat light.

Standard:

Item	Temperature
Vehicle Body	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
Front Door Stripe LH	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

NOTICE:

Do not heat the vehicle body and front door stripe LH excessively.

Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and front door stripe LH.

Pull back an edge of the front door stripe LH and pull it parallel to the vehicle body to remove it.

3. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE STRIPE LH

HINT:

When removing the rear door outside stripe LH, heat the vehicle body and rear door outside stripe LH using a heat light.

Standard:

Rear Door Outside Stripe LH	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

NOTICE:

Do not heat the vehicle body and rear door outside stripe LH excessively.

Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and rear door outside stripe LH.

Pull back an edge of the rear door outside stripe LH and pull it parallel to the vehicle body to remove it.

4. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER STRIPE LH

HINT:

When removing the front quarter stripe LH, heat the vehicle body and front quarter stripe LH using a heat light.

Standard:

Front Quarter Stripe LH	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

NOTICE:

Do not heat the vehicle body and front quarter stripe LH excessively.

Pull back an edge of the front quarter stripe LH and pull it parallel to the vehicle body to remove it.
