When the engine switch is on (IG), communication between the driving support ECU and any of the following components is abnormal for 2 seconds or more.

Lost Communication with Driving Support ECU
  1. When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the driving support ECU assembly and the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is detected for approximately 0.2 seconds.
  2. When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the driving support ECU assembly and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 0.2 seconds.
  3. When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the driving support ECU assembly and the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) is detected for approximately 1.5 seconds.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:
When 2 or more DTCs starting with "U" are output simultaneously, inspect the connectors and wire harnesses of each ECU.
1.CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  1. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Trouble Codes.

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

    HINT:
    If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).
