Injector Driver -- Removal |
1. PRECAUTION |
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click here).
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).
Disconnect the cables from the negative (-) main battery and sub-battery terminals.
3. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER |
w/ DPF:
Disconnect the 7 injector driver connectors and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.
Remove the bolt and disconnect the ground wire from the No. 2 injector driver bracket.
Remove the 3 bolts and injector driver assembly.
w/o DPF:
Disconnect the 4 injector driver connectors.
Detach the fuel hose clamp and wire harness clamp and remove the bolt and disconnect the ground wire from the No. 1 injector driver bracket.
Remove the 3 bolts and injector driver assembly.
Remove the 2 bolts, No. 2 injector driver and No. 2 injector driver bracket from the No. 1 injector driver bracket.

Remove the 4 screws, No. 2 injector driver bracket and No. 2 injector driver.

Remove the 4 screws, No. 2 injector driver bracket, No. 2 injector driver and injector driver bracket.
