  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH

  5. REMOVE TURBO MOTOR DRIVER

Turbo Motor Driver -- Removal



1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click here).


2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).


3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
  1. Remove the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

  1. Loosen the clip and remove the front fender splash shield RH.



4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH
  1. Remove the screw and disconnect the liner from the front bumper cover.

  1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 3 screws.

  1. Remove the 5 clips.

    HINT:
    It is not necessary to fully remove the fender liner. Partially remove it so that the air pump can be removed.


5. REMOVE TURBO MOTOR DRIVER

  1. Disconnect the connector.

    1. Disconnect the connector as follows: (1) push the claw upward, and (2) move the lock lever to release the lock.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and turbo motor driver.

    NOTICE:
    If the turbo motor driver has been struck or dropped, replace it.
