Door Control Receiver Removal

  1. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (except Face to Face Seat Type)

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  3. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER

  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  5. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/ Tonneau Cover)

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, except Face to Face Seat Type)

  8. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH

  9. REMOVE REAR UPPER PILLAR GARNISH RH

  10. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER

Door Control Receiver -- Removal



1. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (except Face to Face Seat Type)

  1. Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly RH (Click here ).



2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  1. Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly RH (Click here).



3. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER
HINT:
Use the same procedure for both rear step covers.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear step cover.



4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.


5. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE

  1. Detach the 6 clips and remove the rear floor mat support plate.



6. REMOVE NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/ Tonneau Cover)

HINT:
Use the same procedure for both No. 1 tonneau cover holder caps.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 tonneau cover holder cap.



7. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, except Face to Face Seat Type)
HINT:
Use the same procedure for both No. 1 luggage compartment trim hooks.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the rear seat cover cap.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

8. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:
When removing the front quarter trim panel assembly RH, operate the reclining adjuster release handle and move the No. 1 rear seat to the position shown in the illustration.

  1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the outer lap belt anchor cover.

  1. Remove the bolt and rear No. 1 seat belt anchor.

  1. w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, except Face to Face Seat Type:

    1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the outer lap belt anchor cover.



      2. Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

    2. Remove the bolt and rear No. 2 seat belt anchor.



  1. w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, except Face to Face Seat Type:

    1. Remove the clip and bolt.

    2. Detach the 16 clips and 2 claws.

    3. w/o Rear Air Conditioning System:
      Disconnect the rear seat lock control lever cable and then remove the front quarter trim panel assembly RH.



    4. w/ Rear Air Conditioning System:
      Disconnect the thermistor connector and rear seat lock control lever cable, and then remove the front quarter trim panel assembly RH.

  1. w/o Rear No. 2 Seat or w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, for Face to Face Seat Type:

    1. Remove the clip.



    2. Detach the 16 clips and 2 claws, and remove the front quarter trim panel assembly RH.

9. REMOVE REAR UPPER PILLAR GARNISH RH

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and open the seat belt shoulder anchor cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Remove the bolt and seat belt shoulder anchor.

  1. w/o Power Back Door:

    1. Detach the 5 clips and remove the rear upper pillar garnish RH.

  1. w/ Power Back Door:

    1. Detach the 5 clips.

    2. Pass the power back door rod through the rear upper pillar garnish, and remove the rear upper pillar garnish RH.

10. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER

  1. Disconnect the connector.
