  2. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER BOLT COVER

  3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

  4. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

  6. REMOVE UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER LH

  7. REMOVE UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER RH

  8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT LEG SIDE COVER

  9. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT PROTECTOR

  10. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  11. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  12. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP

  13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STAY COVER LH

  14. REMOVE REAR UNDER SIDE COVER LH

  15. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH

  16. REMOVE REAR SEAT UNDER TRAY COVER LH

  17. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  18. DISCONNECT NO. 1 SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  19. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

  20. REMOVE REAR SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER

  21. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY

Rear Seat Cushion Heater (For 60/40 Split Seat Type 60 Side) -- Removal


CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the rear No. 1 seat assembly (Click here).



2. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER BOLT COVER

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

  1. Remove the screw and release handle.



4. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cover.



5. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.



6. REMOVE UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER LH

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


7. REMOVE UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER RH

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT LEG SIDE COVER

  1. Remove the 4 screws and detach the 4 claws.

  1. Remove the bolt that is securing the fold seat stopper band and remove the seat leg side cover together with the fold seat stopper band.



9. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT PROTECTOR

  1. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:
    Detach the claw and remove the wire harness connector.

  1. w/ Seat Heater System:
    Detach the claw and remove the wire harness connector.

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the seat protector from the seat hinge.

  1. Detach the 2 claws, open the protector and remove wire harness.



10. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:
    Detach the wire harness clamp.

  1. w/ Seat Heater System:
    Detach the wire harness clamp.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and hinge.

  1. Detach the cable clamp and disconnect the cable.



11. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and hinge.



12. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP

  1. Detach the claw and open the cap.

  1. Remove the screw and anchor cover cap.



13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STAY COVER LH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.



14. REMOVE REAR UNDER SIDE COVER LH

  1. Detach the 10 claws.

  1. Remove the 5 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 clips and 2 claws, and remove the cover.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.



16. REMOVE REAR SEAT UNDER TRAY COVER LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.



17. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the bolt and belt.

    HINT:
    The No. 1 seat 3 point type belt anchor is fixed with the same bolt as the rear No. 1 seat inner belt LH. Therefore, it becomes disconnected when the bolt is removed.


18. DISCONNECT NO. 1 SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Disconnect the belt anchor.



19. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

  1. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:

    1. Detach the side airbag wire harness clamps.

    2. Remove the side airbag wire harness through the hole in the seat cushion.



  1. w/ Seat Heater System:

    1. Disconnect the 2 seat heater connectors.



      2. Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

    2. Remove the seatback heater wire harness through the hole in the seat cushion.

  1. Remove the seat cushion cover with pad.



20. REMOVE REAR SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER

  1. Detach the 3 pieces of fastening tape.

  1. Remove the hog rings and cover.



21. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY

  1. Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat heater to the seat cushion cover, and then remove the seat cushion heater from the seat cushion cover.
