Front Seat Assembly (For Manual Seat) -- Installation |
- CAUTION:
- Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
- The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
| 1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH |
Place the front seat assembly LH in the cabin.
- NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
w/ Wire Harness:
Connect the connectors under the front seat assembly LH.
Temporarily install the front seat assembly LH with the 4 bolts.
Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the front seat assembly LH to the rearmost position.
Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.
- Torque:
- 37 N*m{377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}

Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the front seat assembly LH to the foremost position.
Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.
- Torque:
- 37 N*m{377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}
 |
w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:
Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here)
for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column:
Restore the Autoaway/Return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter (Click here)
| 2. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH |

Attach the 3 claws to install the rear inner seat track bracket cover LH.
| 3. INSTALL REAR OUTER FRONT SEAT TRACK COVER LH |
 |
Attach the 3 claws to install the rear outer front seat track cover LH.
| 4. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH |
 |
Attach the 2 claws to install the front inner seat track bracket cover LH.
| 5. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH |
 |
Attach the 2 claws to install the front outer seat track bracket cover LH.
| 6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY |
Install the front seat headrest assembly.
| 7. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag) |
| 8. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Lumbar Support) |
Check the lumbar support operation.
Operate the lumbar switch and check that the lumbar support moves in both directions.
