  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for HID Headlight)

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  5. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

  6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

  14. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  15. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

  16. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CENTER BUMPER RETAINER

Front Bumper (For Standard) -- Removal



1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click here).


2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for HID Headlight)
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).


3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and screw.

  1. Turn the clip indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH.



4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

  1. Turn the clip indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove the front fender splash shield sub-assembly RH.



5. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL


  1. Remove the 7 clips and radiator support seal.

6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

  1. Put protective tape around the radiator grille assembly.

  1. Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 clips and 8 claws, and remove the radiator grille assembly.

  1. w/ Wide View Front Monitor System:

    1. Disconnect the connector.



7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
HINT:
For the front bumper cover with garnish, use the procedure described below.


  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

  1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 6 screws.

  1. Remove the 3 clips, 4 screws and 4 bolts.



  1. Detach the 10 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

  1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System or w/ Fog Light:
    Disconnect the No. 4 engine room wire connector and remove the front bumper cover.



    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
    Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose and remove the front bumper cover.



8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the front bumper energy absorber.



9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 6 nuts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.



10. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 4 nuts and front No. 2 bumper extension sub-assembly LH.



11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 3 clips and remove the front bumper side support LH.



13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


14. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

15. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

16. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CENTER BUMPER RETAINER

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and front upper center bumper retainer.
