CHECK REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the S5 rear television camera assembly connector.

  2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. Reconnect the S5 rear television camera assembly connector.

    HINT:
    The blind rear television camera assembly uses waterproof connector. Therefore, voltage cannot be checked with the connector connected to the vehicle.
  4. Measure the waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.

  6. Using an oscilloscope, check waveform.

    HINT:
    1. The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.
    2. A waterproof connector is used for the rear television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the multi-media module receiver assembly with the connector connected.
