1. INSPECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH) (for LHD)


  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200.Theft Deterrent Keyless Entry.Entry And Start System (For Entry Function).Engine Hood Courtesy Switch Inspection

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    		Unlock
    		10 kΩ or higher
    1 - 2
    		Lock
    		Below 1 Ω
    If the result is not as specified, replace the hood lock assembly.


2. INSPECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH) (for RHD)


  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition

    		Unlock
    		10 kΩ or higher
    1 - 2
    		Lock
    		Below 1 Ω
    If the result is not as specified, replace the hood lock assembly.
