DESCRIPTION
This DTC indicates a malfunction in the ECM.DTC Code

| ECM has a supervisory CPU and control ECU inside. When each input STP signal is different this DTC is output. This DTC is also output after 0.4 seconds have passed from the time a cruise cancel input signal (STP input) is input to the ECM.

- HINT:
- The ECM receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a trouble code is detected, the fail-safe function remains on until the ignition switch is turned off.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM) |
Clear the DTCs (Click here).
Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
- HINT:
- If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.
Turn the cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch (ON/OFF).
Push the cruise control main switch to -/SET to begin control of vehicle speed by the cruise control system.
