  1. CHECK DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

Differential Pressure Sensor (For Dpf) -- On-Vehicle Inspection

1. CHECK DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch to ON.

  1. Turn the GTS on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / DPNR Differential Pressure.

  1. for Bank 1:
Disconnect the No. 1 air hose from the differential pressure sensor.

  1. for Bank 2:
Disconnect the No. 3 air hose from the differential pressure sensor.

  1. Using SST, apply pressure to the differential pressure sensor.

  1. Check the pressure value of the sensor.

    Standard pressure:
Approximately the same pressure as the applied pressure is indicated on the tester.
    HINT:
Perform the inspection by applying a pressure within the range of 0 to 98 kPa (0 to 1.0 kgf/cm2, 0 to 14.2 psi).
If the result is not as specified, check the sensor circuit (Click here).
  1. for Bank 1:
Connect the No. 1 air hose to the differential pressure sensor.

  1. for Bank 2:
Connect the No. 3 air hose to the differential pressure sensor.
