DTC B2761 Intrusion Sensor Internal Circuit Malfunction


DESCRIPTION

  1. The intrusion sensor (theft warning ultrasonic sensor) conducts self-diagnosis immediately after power is supplied to the sensor (when the theft deterrent system is set).
    If a problem is detected in the signals transmitted and received by the intrusion sensor (theft warning ultrasonic sensor), or if the transmission or reception circuits malfunction, the intrusion sensor (theft warning ultrasonic sensor) transmits a signal to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly). The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) then stores this DTC.

1.CHECK FOR DTC

  1. Set the theft deterrent system and check if the same DTC is not output.

    OK:
    DTC B2761 is not output.

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (Click here)

2.CHECK MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (OPERATION)

  1. Temporarily replace the map light with a new or normally functioning one (Click here).

  1. Check if DTC B2761 is not output.

    OK:
    DTC B2761 is not output.


NG
REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
OK

END (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY IS FAULTY)
