REMOVE REAR WIPER BLADE
REMOVE REAR WIPER RUBBER
INSTALL REAR WIPER RUBBER
INSTALL REAR WIPER BLADE
Rear Wiper Rubber (For Double Swing Out Type) -- Replacement |
1. REMOVE REAR WIPER BLADE |
Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.
Remove the rear wiper blade as shown in the illustration.
- NOTICE:
- Do not fold the wiper arm with the wiper blade removed. The arm tip may damage the windshield surface.
2. REMOVE REAR WIPER RUBBER |
Detach the head part (large side) of the rear wiper rubber from the rear wiper blade.
Remove the rear wiper rubber in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

- NOTICE:
- Do not pull out the wiper rubber forcibly. Doing so will deform the backing plate or damage the blade claw.
Remove the 2 backing plates from the rear wiper rubber.
3. INSTALL REAR WIPER RUBBER |
Install the 2 backing plates to the rear wiper rubber.

- NOTICE:
- Install the backing plates facing the proper direction.
Install the rear wiper rubber to the claw of the wiper blade in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

| Head Part (Large Side)

- HINT:
- Install the rear wiper rubber so that the head part (large side) of the wiper rubber faces the arm axle side.
Attach the head part (large side) of the rear wiper rubber to the rear end side claw of the rear wiper blade.
- NOTICE:
- Push the rear wiper blade into the grooves of the rear wiper rubber to attach them completely.
4. INSTALL REAR WIPER BLADE |
Attach the claw to install the rear wiper blade.
