CHECK FOR DTCs

DTC U0100 Lost Communication with ECM / PCM "A"

DTC U0122 Lost Communication with Vehicle Dynamics Control Module

DTC U0125 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module

DTC U0126 Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module

DTC U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module

DTC U0235 Lost Communication with Cruise Control Front Distance Range Sensor

DTC U1104 Lost Communication with Driving Support ECU

DESCRIPTION

The ECM and driving support ECU assembly communicate signals with each sensor and ECU via CAN communication.
If there are any malfunctions in the communication circuit, one or more CAN communication system DTCs are output.

DTC No.
DTC Detection Condition
Trouble Area
U0100
While the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the ECM and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 1 second or more.
  1. CAN communication system
  2. ECM
  3. Driving support ECU assembly
U0122
When the engine switch is on (IG) and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) and the ECM is detected for approximately 2.24 seconds or more.
  1. CAN communication system
  2. Skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid)
  3. ECM
U0125
While the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 1 second or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK FOR DTCs
  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

    HINT:
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    2. Turn the dynamic radar cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch (ON/OFF).
    3. Drive the vehicle at 5 km/h (3 mph) or more for 5 second or more.
  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).
