- HINT:
- If the following conditions are detected while the cruise control is in operation, the system clears the stored vehicle speed in the ECM and cancels the cruise control operation.

- Cruise control indicator light illuminates in yellow
- w/ Multi-information Display
- Cruise control indicator light turns off
- A warning message "Cruise Control Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" is displayed
- "Pong" warning sound is heard
| Open or short in stop light switch circuit
| - Cruise control system is turned off
- Push cruise control main switch on again
|
- Problem with stop light switch input circuit
- Problem with cruise control main switch cancel circuit
- Malfunction in the brake control system
- Communication stop between skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) and ECM
| - Turn ignition switch off
- Push cruise control main switch on again
|
Cruise control indicator light goes off
| - There is a problem with the throttle position sensor and the motor*1
- There is a problem with the fuel injection system*2
| Turn the cruise control main switch on again
|
Cruise control indicator light remains on (Cruise control is canceled)
| - Vehicle speed is lower than low speed limit (approximately 40 km/h [25 mph]) while running with cruise control system on
- Vehicle stability control system operates while driving with cruise control system controlling vehicle speed*3
- TRC operates for certain amount of time while driving with cruise control system controlling vehicle speed*3
- TRC and VSC are off*3
| Push the cruise control main switch to +RES
|
- The vehicle speed is less than the stored speed by approx. 16 km/h (10 mph) or more
| Push the cruise control main switch to -SET
|
- *1: for 1GR-FE, 1UR-FE, 3UR-FE
- *2: for 1VD-FTV
- *3: w/ Vehicle Stability Control System
