DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) via the CAN communication system.
The yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) has a built-in deceleration sensor and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2). If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) and the CAN communication system, the DTCs U0123 (Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module) and U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are output.
These DTCs are also output when calibration has not been completed.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
  1. When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHR07EX.html).
  2. Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
HINT:
When DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 is output together with DTC C1419 and/or C1435, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 first (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000YUO0FEX.html).
1.REPLACE YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR (YAW RATE SENSOR)
  1. Replace the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) (YARIS_NCP93 RM000002RGR00FX.html).

    NOTICE:
    Check the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) signal after replacement (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHT09FX.html).
    HINT:
    If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHN0C2X.html).
