Rear Combination Light Assembly (For Hatchback) Disassembly
REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY PACKING
REMOVE TAIL AND STOP LIGHT BULB
REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB
REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB
REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT PROTECTOR
Rear Combination Light Assembly (For Hatchback) -- Disassembly |
1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY PACKING |
Remove the rear combination light body packing.
- NOTICE:
- Be sure to remove all the traces of the old packing from the body.
- Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new rear combination light body packing to prevent water ingress.
2. REMOVE TAIL AND STOP LIGHT BULB |
Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove them.
Remove the tail and stop light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
3. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB |
Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove them.
Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
4. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB |
Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove them.
Remove the back up light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Disengage the clamp to remove the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
6. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT PROTECTOR |
Remove the 2 screws and the rear combination light protector.
