Front Seat Assembly (For Hatchback Driver Side) Disassembly

Disengage the clip to the remove the seat slide position sensor protector.

Disconnect the connector.

Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and the seat position airbag sensor.

for 6 Way Seat Type:

1. Disconnect the connector from the seat position airbag sensor.
   

2. Disengage the 4 clamps.
   

3. Disconnect the connector from the seat position airbag sensor.
   





4. Disengage the 2 clamps.
   

5. Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.
   

for 4 Way Seat Type:

1. Disengage the 3 clamps.
   

2. Disconnect the connector from the seat position airbag sensor.
   





3. Disengage the clamp.
   

4. Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.
   

Remove the front seat headrest assembly.

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

Remove the screw and the vertical adjusting handle.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the 2 claws and clip to remove the front seat cushion shield.

Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat cushion inner shield.

Disconnect the seatback cover band.

Unfasten the hook to loop fastener. (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

Disengage the 4 hooks.

Disengage the 3 clamps to separate the front seat side airbag wire harness. (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

Disengage the 2 hooks.

Disengage the 5 hooks and remove the seat cushion with pad.

Remove the 2 hog rings.

Remove the 14 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

Remove the 3 hog rings.

Remove the 3 hog rings.

Unfasten the 2 zippers. (for Sport Package)

Disengage the 4 claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

Remove the 2 nuts and the seatback bracket. (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

Remove the front seatback cover with pad.

Remove the 6 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

Disengage the 2 clamps.

Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat side airbag assembly.

CAUTION:

1. The nuts must not be reused.
   
2. Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
   

Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat cushion lower shield.

Disengage the guide to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

Disengage the guide to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the clip to remove the front seat cushion lower shield RH.

Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the clip to remove the front seat cushion lower shield LH.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector RH.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector LH.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector RH.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector LH.

Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly.

Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

Disengage the 2 hooks to remove the seat track adjusting handle.
