  1. INSTALL NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  7. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT (w/ Knee Airbag)

Clutch Switch (For Hatchback) -- Installation


CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000KT10EAX.html).


1. INSTALL NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Fully loosen the lock nut of the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly.

  1. Adjust the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly until the center of the clutch pedal pad is at the standard height (YARIS_NCP93 RM000004T6O000X.html ).

  1. Tighten the lock nut and ensure that the threaded portion is in contact with the cushion.

    Torque:
    16 N*m{160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf}

  1. Connect the connector.



2. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  1. Engage the 5 claws and 2 clips and install the instrument panel finish panel.



4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  1. Engage the 2 claws and 5 clips and install the instrument panel finish panel.



5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Engage the guide and the claw.

  1. Install the instrument panel under cover with the 2 <A> screws.



6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque:
5.4 N*m{55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf}


7. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT (w/ Knee Airbag)
