  1. Repair the intake valve seat.

    NOTICE:
    Releasing the seat-cutter pressure gradually helps to the make valve seat face smoother.

  1. If the seating is too high on the valve face, use 20° and 45° cutters to correct it.

  1. If the seating is too low on the valve face, use 75° and 45° cutters to correct it.

  1. Hand-lap the valve and valve seat with an abrasive compound.

  1. Recheck the valve seating position.

NOTICE:
