- HINT:
- Centering bolts are used to mount the door hinge onto the vehicle body and door. The door cannot be adjusted with the centering bolts in. Substitute standard bolts (with washers) for the centering bolts when making adjustments.

| 1. INSPECT BACK DOOR |
Check that the clearance measurements are within the standard ranges.

| 2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY |
Remove the deck board.

| 3. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE |
Disengage the 4 claws and 4 guides and remove the rear floor finish plate.
 |
| 4. ADJUST BACK DOOR |
Adjust the door position.
Horizontally and vertically adjust the door by loosening the door side hinge bolts.
- Torque:
- 19 N*m{194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf}
 |
Adjust the striker position.
Using a "TORX" socket wrench T40, adjust the striker position by slightly loosening the striker mounting bolts and hitting the striker with a plastic hammer.
Using a "TORX" socket wrench T40, tighten the striker mounting bolts after the adjustment.
- Torque:
- 23 N*m{235 kgf*cm, 17 ft.*lbf}

| 5. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE |
Engage the 4 guides and the 4 claws to install the rear floor finish plate.
| 6. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY |
Install the deck board.
