REMOVE CYLINDER BOOT
REMOVE PISTON SEAL
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG CAP
REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG
Rear Brake (For Hatchback Disc Type) -- Disassembly |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
- The following procedure listed is for the LH side.
1. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE PISTON |
Using SST, remove the rear disc brake piston by turning it counterclockwise.
- SST
- 09719-12010(09719-01030)
- NOTICE:
- Do not damage the rear disc brake piston.
- Do not allow any brake fluid to spatter.
- HINT:
- For the RH side, turn the rear disc brake piston clockwise.
Remove the cylinder boot from the rear disc brake piston.
Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the piston seal from the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
