1. INSPECT STARTER RELAY

  1. Check the resistance.

    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

      Standard resistance:
      Tester Connection
      		Specified Condition
      3 - 5
      		Below 1 Ω (when battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2)
      10 kΩ or higher
      If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.


2. INSPECT ACC CUT RELAY


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131.1Nz-Fe Starting.Starting System (For Sedan).Relay (For Sedan) On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. Check the resistance.

    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

      Standard resistance:
      Tester Connection
      		Specified Condition
      3 - 4
      		Below 1 Ω
      10 kΩ or higher (when battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2)
      3 - 5
      		Below 1 Ω (when battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2)
      10 kΩ or higher
      If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
