Accelerator Pedal (For Sedan) -- On-Vehicle Inspection



1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  1. Turn the Techstream on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Accel Sensor Out No. 1 and Accel Sensor Out No. 2.

  1. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

    Standard Voltage:
    Condition
    		Accel Sensor Out No. 1
    		Accel Sensor Out No. 2
    Accelerator pedal released
    		0.5 to 1.1 V
    		1.2 to 2.0 V
    Accelerator pedal depressed
    		2.6 to 4.5 V
    		3.4 to 5.0 V
    HINT:
    If the results are not as specified, check the accelerator pedal, wire harness or ECM.
