Speed Sensor (For Sedan) -- Installation



1. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it onto the speed sensor.



    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Install the speed sensor to the transaxle with the bolt.

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m{55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf}

  1. Connect the speed sensor connector.



2. INSTALL SPEEDOMETER SENSOR

  1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it onto the speedometer sensor.

  1. Install the speedometer driven gear into the speedometer sensor with the clip.

  1. Install the speedometer sensor to the transaxle with the bolt.

    Torque:
    7.0 N*m{71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf}

  1. Connect the speedometer sensor connector.



3. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER

  1. Install the battery carrier with the 5 bolts.

    Torque:
    17 N*m{173 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf}

  1. Install the clamp.



4. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY


5. INSTALL BATTERY

  1. Install the battery onto the vehicle with the battery clamp.

    Torque:
    3.5 N*m{36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf}

  1. Connect the cable to the battery terminal.

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m{55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf}
