  C2177/77 Initialization Not Completed

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
  1. When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
  2. It is necessary to perform initialization (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XMZ073X.html) after registration (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XN107WX.html) of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver if the ECU and/or one of the valve and transmitters has been replaced.
  3. When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver on vehicles equipped with the wireless door lock control system, be sure to perform Registration of Recognition Code to register the transmitter IDs after ECU replacement (YARIS_NCP93 RM0000023D302UX.html).
1.CHECK FREQUENCY RECEIVING CONDITION
  1. Check that the vehicle is not located in an area such as described below:

    1. Facilities or devices that use similar radio frequencies are located in the vicinity of the vehicle.

      HINT:
If the vehicle is located in an area such as the one described above, the tire pressure warning light may come on after blinking 1 minute only in a particular area due to interfering radio frequencies.
    2. Devices using similar radio frequencies are used in the vehicle.

      OK:
Facilities, or devices that use similar radio frequencies are not located in the vicinity of the vehicle.
      HINT:
Radio transmissions may be interrupted due to the surroundings, or devices installed by the user.

3.CONFIRM TIRE INFLATION PRESSURE (DATA LIST)
  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  1. Turn the Techstream on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.

  1. Check the values by referring to the table below.
