DTC C1210 Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor Undone |
DTC C1336 Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone |
DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) via the CAN communication system. The yaw rate and deceleration sensor has a built-in deceleration sensor and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2). If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) and the CAN communication system, the DTCs U0123 (Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module) and U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are output. The DTCs are also output when the calibration has not been completed.DTC No.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHR07EX.html).
- HINT:
- When DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 is output together with DTC C1210 and/or C1336, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 first (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000YUO0FEX.html).
1.PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR |
Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHR07EX.html).
2.PERFORM TEST MODE (SIGNAL CHECK) |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Perform the sensor check in the Test Mode procedure (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHT09FX.html).
- OK:
- All Test Mode DTCs are cleared.
- HINT:
- If troubleshooting has been carried out according to Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHN0C2X.html).

3.CHECK YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR (YAW RATE SENSOR) |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Check that the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) has been installed properly (YARIS_NCP93 RM000002RGP00FX.html).
- OK:
- The sensor should be tightened to the specified torque.
- The sensor is not installed in a tilted position.
4.READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR) |
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the Techstream on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List.
According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

Check the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) output value displayed on the Techstream.
- OK:
- The yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) output value is normal.
- NOTICE:
- Check the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) signal after replacement (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHT09FX.html).
- HINT:
- If troubleshooting has been carried out according to Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHN0C2X.html).
