  1. INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PAD LOWER LH

  3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET

  5. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)

  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

  9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER

  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  11. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

Center Airbag Sensor Assembly (For Sedan) -- Installation


CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Be sure to read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000KT10D1X.html).


1. INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Confirm that the ignition switch is turned to off.

  1. Confirm that the negative battery terminal is detached.

    CAUTION:
    1. Confirm that the negative battery terminal is disconnected before performing the operation. Even an impact to only the airbag sensor will cause the airbag to deploy.
    2. Do not start the operation for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the negative battery terminal.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and remove the airbag sensor.

    Torque:
    18 N*m{180 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf}
    NOTICE:
    1. Do not use an airbag sensor that has been dropped.
    2. Do not subject the airbag sensor to any impact or force.
    3. Confirm that the carpet does not interfere with the installation plane.

  1. Confirm that there is no looseness by shaking the front airbag sensor.

  1. Connect the connector holder to lock the lever.

    NOTICE:
    Confirm that the lever is locked.

  1. Confirm that the drip-proof sheet has not been removed and does not cut into the connectors.



2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PAD LOWER LH

  1. Engage the claw and 3 clips and install the instrument pad lower.

  1. Install screw <I>.



3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Engage the 4 claws and install the rear console box.

  1. Install the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

  1. Connect the clamp.



4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Install the console box carpet.



5. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Engage the 3 clips and 3 claws and install the console upper rear panel.



6. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Engage the 5 clips and the claw and install the upper console panel.



7. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)

  1. Install the shift lever knob.



8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

  1. Engage the 6 claws and 3 clips and install the instrument panel finish panel end LH.



9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER

  1. Engage the 2 claws and 2 clips and install the instrument panel finish panel lower center.



10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque:
5.4 N*m{55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf}


11. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
