Rear Brake Flexible Hose (For Hatchback) Removal

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

  3. REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE

  4. REMOVE REAR BRAKE TUBE FLEXIBLE HOSE (for Rear Disc Brake)

Rear Brake Flexible Hose (For Hatchback) -- Removal



1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL


2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
NOTICE:
Immediately wash off any brake fluid that comes into contact with any painted surfaces.


3. REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, disconnect the 2 brake tubes while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not kink or damage the brake line.
    2. Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.

  1. Remove the 2 clips and the rear flexible hose.



4. REMOVE REAR BRAKE TUBE FLEXIBLE HOSE (for Rear Disc Brake)

  1. Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, disconnect the brake tubes while holding the rear brake tube flexible hose with a wrench.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not kink or damage the brake line.
    2. Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.

  1. Remove the clip and separate the rear brake tube flexible hose.

  1. Remove the union bolt, gasket and the rear brake tube flexible hose.
